Week 2
WEEK -2 (25/11/2019-29/11/2019)
This was the second week of our teaching practice. In this week I almost completed nine lesson plans. I got substitution classes ( in 9G) because some teachers went to tour so I can finish the chapter circle measures and started the next new chapter Real Numbers.
On Monday I got second hour. I taught some problems related to Area of Circles using activity chart. Students actively listened what I taught and came to fill the activity chart correctly. On Tuesday I got third hour. I started a new concept LENGTH and ANGLE using ICT. Then I gave and explained some problems related to this concept. Then I gave another problem to do as an activity using activity chart to be filled by students actively. This class was observed by Deepthi teacher and gave some suggestions. On Wednesday I got third hour. I taught another concept ANGLE and AREA. Then I explained some problems based on the concept. And gave another problem using activity chart , students were actively filled the chart. On Thursday I got three classes. On third period I explained problems using activity chart and called students to fill it. On sixth and seventh periods I gave some another problems based on the concept and completed this chapter and gave some revision also. On Friday I got two periods, third and fifth. On third period I started new chapter REAL NUMBERS. I explained the definition showed in a chart. On fifth period I started next concept distance between two points and midpoint of two points. Then I gave some problems related to the concept.
This week was a very good experience for me. There seemed to be a good improvement in my teaching. I had go through so many experiences in this week. We went to morning and evening line duty and also did kitchen duty during our free hours. I really enjoyed this week in school.
